Our place offers studio and 1 bedroom apartments with private kitchenettes and bathrooms in Bansko, Bulgaria. We target remote workers, entrepreneurs, and digital nomads. We have a minimum stay of 1 month and all the basics are included.
Community is a huge part of our coliving space so we have a dedicated on-site community facilitator to help the residents get that sense of belonging. Some events that we organize include bbq's in our shared garden, community meals, short excursions in the local area, Spikeball in the garden, spa session in our shared spa, workshops in our event space/coworking, and much more!

Bansko is quite a unique place. During the winter, its a bustling ski resort town with digital nomads, remote workers, and visitors, many of whom ski/snowboard in the mornings and work in the evenings. The summer is also beautiful with Bansko hosting the Nomadfest where digital nomads from far and wide come and bring a fantastic energy to the whole town!
Living here in our coliving space gives you access to everything you need within walking distance. We have gyms, grocery stores, hiking trails, and everything else without having to take any form of transportation!
There are also many destinations in the local area where you can take a plunge in a natural hot spring, partake in some wine tasting, and visit historic sites.

Are pets allowed?Unfortunately at this time we do not have a pet policy. We might be open to introducing one in the future so please ask us and we can find a solution that works for everyone :)

Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?After 1 guest, €8 per person, per night.

Is there a designated space for work?Yes. Downstairs is a dedicated coworking space that you are more than welcome to use.

Will I get the same room as on the photos?The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

What criteria do you use to evaluate potential renters?We look for open-minded, considerate individuals who are looking for an opportunity to share a beautiful home with other exciting people.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?You are allowed to move in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate.
If you wish to move out late, you are free to use our communal areas. -
Can I extend or shorten my stay?Yes, please get in touch with the manager in relation to this and we can sort it out on an individual basis.

Is there a Credit Score required?We do not check your credit history. The main factors to be accepted into our community are honesty, transparency, and the purpose of your trip.

When/how will you refund my security deposit?Security deposit is typically returned shortly after your stay ends. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return. Normal wear and tear are expected.

Can I cancel a booking?You may cancel with no fees until you have paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the Cancellation Policy needs to be followed.

What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs.

What if the place is not as advertised?You have 24hrs to let us know if everything is okay. If you think you’ve been missold to, or the listing was significantly different to what you got, we’ll help you find somewhere else to live, or refund your money.

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?Yes, within reason. If your visitors do not follow our general rules or overstay their welcome, they will either have to pay rent or leave.

How many people will be living here during my stay?This depends a lot on the time of the year that you come. During the winter and summer, the place is usually fully booked which means something like 30 people on average. During spring and autumn, we usually have around 15 to 25 people.

Is there a house/community manager?Yes, you will have an experienced and committed on-site community facilitator that will organize events and help you get that sense of community. Your community facilitator will host events based on resident preferences and answer any questions you may have.

What is the average length of stay?The minimum length of stay is 1 month with an average length of stay being between 3 to 5 months.

Are there any good restaurants nearby?Although Bansko isn't a particularly huge ski town, it has seen a significant increase in restaurant offerings. With a very diverse and bustling international crowd, Bansko not only offers countless traditional Bulgarian cuisine but also authentic gelato, raclette, French shops, and events with even more diverse food like Thai or Mexican.

How far is it to the nearest airport?The closest airport is in Sofia, which is 160 km or about a 2 hour drive.

What is there to do in the area?Bansko is a ski town. What this means is that you will have many hiking trails, mountain biking trails, snowboarding/skiing up on the mountain. In the more extended local area you can drive to natural hot springs, wineries that offer wine tasting, and beautiful historical sites.
