All kitchen utensils are available on the spot. All rooms are fully furnished and include all the utilities. All utilities are included in the price (electricity, gas, water, internet). Please note that we don't provide parking. Our properties are all located a short distance from public transit. Parking if needed can be found nearby on the street. North Bay Island offers impressive, expansive views of the sea wherever you look and it sits in the middle of Biscayne Bay, connected to land only by two bridges. Will I have privacy?All guests have a bedroom within the home for more privacy. Guests are to share the furnished common areas respectfully. Each room is suitable for single occupancy and private.

Are pets allowed?Even though we love pets, a co-living environment does not allow us to be pet friendly. Our current or future guests might be allergic to pets.

Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?Our rooms are single occupancy only. We may suggest our entire apartment options (one bedroom or studio) for couples, available at limited locations.

What types of people will I be sharing the home with?We do the placements according to like-mindedness as much as we can. We will pick roomates for you, doing our best to match like minded individuals like students and young professionals.

Will I get the same room as on the photos?The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?For earlier check-ins (early arriving flights)
You can call / message the coordinator via WhatsApp and let them know your arrival time. You will be able to leave your luggage in the common area of the apartment and return later once your room is ready. -
Can I extend or shorten my stay?You need to provide a written request to extend your stay, preferably with a 30-day notice. Extensions are based on availability and we do our best to accommodate our guests.

Is there a Credit Score required?We ask for ID proof of guarantor for the verification process but we do not require any credit scores from international applicants and students.

When/how will you refund my security deposit?The deposit will be returned within 21 business days after the rooming agreement term stays, provided that the contractual obligations have been met and mandatory cleaning and depreciation fees deducted.

Can I cancel a booking?You may cancel with no fees until you have paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the Cancellation Policy needs to be followed.

What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs.

What if the place is not as advertised?You have 24hrs to let us know if everything is okay. If you think you’ve been missold to, or the listing was significantly different to what you got, we’ll help you find somewhere else to live, or refund your money.

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?Due to the unique living environment at our premises, constant overnight guests are not allowed. You are able to have friends and family visit you. However, overnight guests overpopulate the apartment and are not permitted.

Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?Smoking of any kind; is not permitted in the residence buildings, by residents and their guests.

Are all rooms furnished?All rooms are fully furnished and include all the utilities.

Any meals/snacks included?Meal plans are not provided. Our apartments have fully furnished kitchens with standard appliances including pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery. There are grocery stores nearby.

Are the private bedrooms cleaned frequently?Prior to moving in, your room is cleaned and you are provided with fresh linens. It is up to all roommates to keep their rooms and common areas clean.
