This villa offers a prime location for guests to venture into Umbria and southern Tuscany, just 5 km from Todi, a captivating hilltop town renowned for its medieval charm and stunning vistas. Todi enchants visitors with its medieval allure, adorned with historic sites like the Tempio di San Fortunato and panoramic views from Piazza del Popolo. The capital of Umbria, Perugia, is 45 minutes away. It is well worth a visit, as is the famous town of Assisi (1 hour), birthplace of St. Francis and a site of pilgrimage. Over the border in Tuscany, Montepulciano (40 minutes) makes an interesting day trip. Here you can visit many different wine producers and try some of the famous red wines and buy some to enjoy at home.
The closest airport is at Perugia (50 minutes drive), and Rome airport is about 2 hours away. A comfortable travel bus takes you from the airport directly to Todi with only one stop in Rome Center.
