Welcome to the first international exchange sharehouse in Shiga Prefecture, located in the heart of Hikone city. As the owner, I'm thrilled to introduce you to a place where global cultures blend seamlessly with the local charm of Hikone.

Established in January 2020, our mission is to foster international exchanges that enrich both our residents and the local area. With over ten events and workshops conducted within a year and weekly parties, our vibrant community is the perfect place for those looking to immerse themselves in a multicultural environment.
Situated conveniently in Hikone city, the house offers easy access to educational institutions like Shiga University and Shiga Prefectural University, making it an ideal residence for students. With a mix of Japanese and international residents, our sharehouse is a melting pot of cultures, offering unique opportunities for cultural exchange and language practice right at your doorstep.
Our facilities include all the essentials you need to feel at home: free Wi-Fi, a communal kitchen, and a bicycle parking space. We offer four rooms, including tatami rooms, that allow for a traditional Japanese living experience at an affordable price, and with the flexibility of short-term stays from one month on, the property is both accessible and accommodating.
Located just a nine-minute bike ride from Hikone Station, our sharehouse is not only convenient for local commuting but also perfectly positioned to explore the wider Kansai area. My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

Can I cancel a booking?You may cancel with no fees until you have paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the Cancellation Policy needs to be followed.

What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs.
