Are pets allowed?We do allow pets in select units! There is a breed restriction and guidelines that must be met.

Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?We do allow couples and friends to stay in our bigger rooms, ensuring there’s plenty of space for your needs and comfort.

Is there a designated space for work?You have plenty of flexible workspace options to suit your mood and your requirements for the day.

What types of people will I be sharing the home with?Our team members are well-versed in the demographic makeup of each coliving unit. They will ask questions to understand your preferences and expectations for suitemates which helps create a suitable living arrangement.

Will I get the same room as on the photos?The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.
- If the property substantially differ from what is advertiser, you report it to us and we will help you find another place. -
My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

What information do I need to supply for the application?Note that there is an application process. We require a minimum of a 650+ credit score; however, this is not the only factor to take into account when accepting your application. If you do not meet this guideline, we can still consider it. The fee is $59 and non-refundable. The $500 holding deposit is refundable within 72 hours.

What criteria do you use to evaluate potential renters?We will process a background check and we will evaluate credit scores, prior rental history, and income must at a minimum be 2.5x the monthly rent.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?Please contact our management team as this will vary depending on other bookings and schedules.

Can I extend or shorten my stay?A $500 admin fee will be assessed for shortening stay and you are rent responsible until someone leases the suite. Extensions are available and will need to be evaluated by our management team.

Do you accept co-signers?We gladly accept co-signers for applicants with limited credit history or income.

Is there a Credit Score required?We require a minimum of 650+ credit score, however, this is not the only factor consiidered when accepting your application. If you do not meet this guideline, we can still consider your application.

When/how will you refund my security deposit?The remaining security deposit will be mailed to you.

Can I cancel a booking?You may cancel with no fees until you have paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the Cancellation Policy needs to be followed.

What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs.

What if the place is not as advertised?You have 24hrs to let us know if everything is okay. If you think you’ve been missold to, or the listing was significantly different to what you got, we’ll help you find somewhere else to live, or refund your money.

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?There are House Rules that outline visitor guidelines.

Are kids allowed?Additional occupants are allowed for $300 extra per person.

Are service and emotional support animals allowed?By law, we allow service dogs. Our staff is allowed to ask two questions to determine what service the animal provides if it's not obvious:
1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and
2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
We define service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs and pets whose sole function is only to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and will not be allowed.

Is it possible to request a change of room or apartment if I am not satisfied with the current one?No.

Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?To keep our environment clean and healthy, we ask that you refrain from smoking indoors, including private rooms, common areas, hallways, and balconies. If you do wish to smoke, please do so outside, away from the building entrance, and kindly dispose of your cigarette butts properly. Thank you for helping us maintain a pleasant space for everyone!

Can I receive post/mail to the property?Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in.

What are the quiet hours?On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.

What is the policy on alcohol?It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property.

What potential costs are there besides the rent?We require that you have renters insurance. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is your own.

Are all rooms furnished?The common areas are fully furnished. Bedrooms are furnished with a queen mattress and bedframe, nightstand, lamp, and mirror.

Any meals/snacks included?No. But you have a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.

Are the private bedrooms cleaned frequently?The bedrooms are cleaned after every move out. Daily maintenance is the responsibility of the resident.

What are the laundry options?Units come with a washer and dryer. You must supply your own laundry supplies.
