Our expansive veggie kitchen is equipped with the latest Bosch appliances, ensuring that residents can cook and dine in style. Please note that meat (including meat products and fish) is not permitted on the property.
The communal living room, spacious and well-appointed, features comfortable seating for all residents, a 65-inch smart TV for communal movie nights, and cozy corner “café” seating that’s perfect for enjoying a morning coffee in the sunshine.
For those who value wellness and tranquility, our dedicated yoga and meditation room is a true sanctuary. Fully stocked with all necessary yoga props, it offers a serene space for practice and relaxation adjacent to the living room. This peaceful area not only serves as an oasis for yoga, but also doubles as an additional quiet workspace outside of morning and evening yoga times.
Connectivity is key. The entire house boasts lightning-fast 1000 Mbps internet. A comprehensive WiFi mesh ensures seamless WiFi internet access in all rooms, and Ethernet connections exist in most rooms. Each room also features a dedicated work desk or workspace, and our large dining room transforms into a communal workspace during the day, promoting both productivity and collaboration among residents.

Are pets allowed?Although we love all pets, we might have members with potential allergies, so, unfortunately, we can’t allow people to bring pets with them. We want to make sure everyone can be happy in their communal home.

Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?We do allow couples and friends to stay in our bigger rooms, ensuring there’s plenty of space for your needs and comfort.

Is there a designated space for work?Yes ! You have plenty of flexible workspace options to suit your mood and your requirements for the day. Aside from the workspace in your room, there is a communal work desk in the dining room and a quiet floor-based workspace in the yoga room between the hours of 11am and 5pm.

Will I get the same room as on the photos?The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:

- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.

My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

Can I cancel a booking?You may cancel with no fees until you have paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the Cancellation Policy needs to be followed.

What if I don’t know exactly how long I want to stay?You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs.

What if the place is not as advertised?You have 24hrs to let us know if everything is okay. If you think you’ve been missold to, or the listing was significantly different to what you got, we’ll help you find somewhere else to live, or refund your money.

Are kids allowed?As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no.

Are service and emotional support animals allowed?We do not accept pets.
By law, we allow service dogs. Our staff is allowed to ask two questions to determine what service the animal provides if it's not obvious:
1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and
2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
We define service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs and pets whose sole function is only to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and will not be allowed.

Is it possible to request a change of room or apartment if I am not satisfied with the current one?Of course. If a room is released and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference. We may also charge an additional room cleaning fee.

Can I smoke inside? How about vaping?To keep our environment clean and healthy, we ask that you refrain from smoking indoors, including private rooms, common areas, hallways, and balconies. If you do wish to smoke, please do so outside, away from the building entrance, and kindly dispose of your cigarette butts properly. Thank you for helping us maintain a pleasant space for everyone!

Can I receive post/mail to the property?Yes packages can be received during your stay. If you would like to receive post, we will provide updated information once you have moved in. Please note that you will need to change your address well before leaving Mandala to ensure that post does not go missing.

What are the quiet hours?On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 a.m. and from 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.

What is the policy on alcohol?It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy an evening drink, as long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, please make sure you do that away from the property; there are numerous venues within walking distance.
