What methods can be used to pay the rent?
Flexible Payment Methods for Rent:
To streamline the payment process and provide flexibility, Coliving.com offers various payment methods. You are not restricted to the payment method used for the first rent.
Express Payment Options:
The fastest and most common way to pay rent and complete the Renters Terms acceptance process (especially for the first rent) is through express payment methods. Options available on Coliving.com include:
- Credit/Debit Card:
- We support MasterCard, VISA, and Maestro.
- Apple Pay/Google Pay:
- These options are convenient if you frequently use them for contactless payments. They allow quick payments without re-entering card details.
Bank Transfer:
- While possible, bank transfer is not recommended for the first rent due to the delay in processing (typically 5 working days), which could impact the timely conclusion of the Renters Terms acceptance process. For subsequent rents, ensure timely transfers to avoid overdue payments.
Troubleshooting Payment Issues:
- If a payment is declined or canceled, check if there is sufficient balance, and verify the daily and online transaction limits with your bank. Make sure to authorize payments with 3D Secure, through SMS codes or banking app confirmations.
- If you encounter issues opening the payment gateway, using the Chrome browser often resolves these problems.
Important Notes:
- Coliving.com issues refunds back the the payment method used to pay the rent. We will not issue refund to other payment methods due to prevent scams.
